matt, thank you for your comments. (i also would like to thank joseph for meninoitng my work.) these are valid concerns. i don't have answers to all of them, but possibly i can clarify a few points.my published model is one-dimensional, so it doesn't address the isotropy question in full. however, in this model the muon neutrino knows that it must be created ahead of the meson, while the tau neutrino always lags behind. this fact follows naturally from the chosen form of the neutrino interaction hamiltonian. i believe that similar anisotropy can be reproduced in the full 3d model. the rotational invariance does not seem to be an obstacle, because there is a preferred direction the momentum of the unstable meson. these are just my guesses, because no 3d calculations have been done yet. these calculations (taking into account neutrino spin) should also answer your question about the angular momentum conservation. if the interacting model is poincare invariant (and i believe that such a model can be constructed), then all conservation laws will be satisfied automatically. i am working on it.i also have something to say about your point on causality. there is a section 4.1. in the paper which discusses this point. my argument is that boost transformations of observables in any interacting system (e.g., in the system unstable meson + its decay products ) must depend on the strength of interaction. (this dependence is ignored in einstein's special relativity, which makes this theory approximate.) again, no detailed calculations in different frames have been done for the meson decay, but there are reasons to believe that taking the interaction-dependence of boosts into account one can show that the simultaneity of the neutrino emergence and the meson disappearance is retained in all moving frames. my belief is based on quantum relativistic theory of action-at-a-distance presented in the book arxiv:physics/0504062. see, especially, chapter 11.eugene.
